Eric Doucet is a professional musician based in Edmonton, Alberta. Following a lifelong passion, he graduated from MacEwan University's Bachelor of Music in Jazz and Contemporary Popular Music in 2016 as a Piano/Keyboard Performance Major. When he is not playing with River City Jukebox, he is often seen and heard on stages around Edmonton and beyond performing with various groups. Eric is the founder and co-leader of experimental band High Tides, founder and musical director of francophone cover band Franco-Party, as well as keyboardist in funk-soul band Carter & the Capitals and jazz-fusion band Red Litmus. Eric is also heard on recent recordings by local artists Brooke Woods, Paul Cournoyer, Bryan Coffey, and Success 5000. He is just as active in French, English or instrumental music, which affords him the opportunity to play in an impressive breadth of styles. He has shared the stage with many world-renowned artists, including Simple Plan, Chantal Kreviazuk, the Donny McCaslin Group and Damien Robitaille. Eric has performed across Canada and the USA in such illustrious venues as the Francis Winspear Centre, the Eric Harvie Theatre at the Banff Centre, and the Yardbird Suite. He has also performed under the auspices of several festivals, such as the Edmonton International Jazz Festival, NextFest, Franco-fête de l'Acadie and Edmonton Chante. Check him out at
